We Are Glad You Stopped By!!
Welcome to St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church in Acton. We are purposefully driven by the power of the gospel that calls us to follow Christ. We follow Christ by engaging our faith as we respond to the issues and needs of our community.
Acton is a small but growing community. Acton is one of the bedroom communities of the GTA. We have noted the demographic shift and other changes pertinent to the 21st century and are well anchored to embrace it while maintaining a strong Biblical faith in our beautiful Anglican traditions. We seek God’s wisdom to respond to what we may be called to do. One of the ways of hearing that wisdom is to listen and acknowledge other people’s gifts and talents and absorb them as part of our ministry. So if you are reading this and you have a gift, we have a need; we need that Gift to build the ministry and respond to the call of the Gospel.
Browse through our site and get acquainted with our ministries such as Caring and Outreach which includes the sub–ministries of Community Dinners, Food for Life, Prayer Shawls, Christmas Boxes, Pastoral care and many other activities. We’ve been described as the “Happening Church.” So, welcome to our Happening Church!
